"Grey's Anatomy" is a television medical drama that began airing in 2005. The series has been the highest-rated drama in the United States for much of its history and has won numerous awards. The series follows the lives of surgical interns and residents of Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital. At the beginning of the series, each season represented one academic year for the physicians. During the following season, each physician was qualified for a higher level of the surgical field.
