1950s Film Quotations
The first decade after WWII saw the increase in tension between the United States and the Soviet Union, the Korean War, and the arms race. The decade saw the launch of Sputnik , increased nuclear weapon testing, the Red Scare, and the continued decolonization of Africa and Asia. In film, movie lovers saw the stars shine.
