Classic Valentine's Day Rhymes

Valentine's day is just around the corner. I love it, you love it, and the flower stores can't get enough of it.

Like all famous works, classic Valentine's day rhymes have been used endlessly. Because of this, the rhymes have often been altered to form something else entirely, thus the original poem is no longer remembered or spoken by the youngest generation. These short love poems are being lost by those around us.

For better or worse, here is a list of the original classic Valentine's day rhymes:

Be mine -  Now and forever
Be mine - You are my treasure
Be mine - Please tell me it's true
Be mine - I love you!

I love your beautiful smile
And your kind way,
The joy that you bring
To my life every day.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet,
And so are you!

There are many colours
But my favourite is blue
There are many boys/girls

There are three little words
