Judaism: Faith & Quotations

Judaism is the belief that an omniscient, omnipotent, benevolent, transcendent God created the universe and now governs it. The God who created the world established a covenant with the Israelites and revealed his laws and commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai in the form of both written and oral Torah and now the Jewish people are descendants of the Israelites.

The traditional practice of Judaism revolves around the study and observance of God's laws as written in the Torah and expounded in the Talmud.
