Funny Quotations from The Three Musketeers

The Three Musketeers is an action adventure comedy film about the three Musketeers and their adventures with a young swordsman. The film follows the life of d'Artagnan as he dreams of becoming a musketeer. Once arriving to Paris, he makes a fool of himself and challenges each Musketeer at different times to a duel. However, he ends up helping them fend off the Cardinal Richelieu's gaurds and he is subsiquently invited to help them in their efforts against the Cardinal. Along the way, the young d'Artagnan begins an affair with his landlord's wife. Directed by Richard Lester. Starring Oliver Reed, Charlton Heston, Raquel Welch, Faye Dunaway, Richard Chamberlain, Frank Finlay, Michael York, and Christopher Lee. Based on the novel of the same name by Alexandre Dumas.

The Three Musketeers received mostly positive reviews when it was released. Sadly, amongst all the other Musketeer movies, this one is generally lost in history despite having many famous actors, actresses, and great humor. Little known fact: the Beattles were originally going to play the Musketeers. Continue reading for some humorous The Three Musketeers quotes.

Duke of Buckingham: How can I ever repay you?
D'Artagnan: My Lord, let us understand one another. You are an Englishman and an enemy of France. You owe me no debt. What I have done, I've done for the Queen.
