The Ring is a mystery horror thriller film about a videotape that somehow causes the death of anyone who watches it. The film follows the life of young journalist Rachel, who's the mother of a girl who died watching the tape. However, Rachel finds the tape and watches it. She receives a phone call from a child that states "seven days." It upsets her, but soon she starts to experience strange happenings around her, such as nosebleeds, nightmares, and her ability to take things out of the television. The movie continues to follow her until her eventual demise. Directed by Gore Verbinski. Starring Naomi Watts, Martin Henderson, and Brian Cox. Based on the 1998 Japanese horror film "Ringu".
