The Green Mile is a fantasy crime drama film about an inmate on death row who is accused of child murder but can create miracles. The film follows the life of a prison guard, Paul Edgecomb, as he deals with a urinary infection and the "green mile". During the tale, the guards meet a circus mouse, a horrible prisoner they call "Wild Bill", and have a fellow prison guard who causes trouble for everyone around him. Directed by Frank Darabont. Starring Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan, and David Morse. Based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King.
The Green Mile was nominated for four Oscar awards, including Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor (Duncan). The movie is considered as one of the best films of the 1990s. Personally, it's one of my favorite films of all-time. Read on for some quotes from The Green Mile.
