Words 4-23-08

“Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But words will never hurt me”
If this is true,
Why are the victims of bullies so down and depressed?
It is true that bullies only have power,
If u let them tower over you,
But what happens to the people, who end up with eating disorders,
Or depression problems?
What happens if they can’t stand up for what they believe?

“Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But words will never hurt me”…
Or at least that what my parents always told me…
But the word of god states that words are murder!
In other words, saying “I hate you” would be stabbing someone’s heart.

What am I trying to say…?
You may wonder?
It was the words that came out of somebody’s mouth,
That changed my life forever.
The words that told me “We need to talk”
Then the four words came out of his mouth.
“Your friend has died.”
The words that put a hole in my heart and stole a part of me…
Of my heart where he used to be.

“Sticks and stones will break my bones,
But words will never hurt me”…
Let those idiots believe what they want to believe!
