Vanished
All my hopes, dreams and wishes are gone.
Vanishing with the blood in my veins.
Slowly the blackness comes,
creeping in from the corner of my eyes.
As the loss of life puddles on the floor.
Washed down the drain with...
Every wish I ever made.
Every dream I ever conjured.
Every hope I dared believe.
The sweet blackness claims.
At last I feel no more.
No need for foolish hopes.
Or those silly dreams.
Or even my whispered wishes.
I am finally gone...
My one true wish granted.
My final dream come true.
My last hope given life.
Yet how long do I have?
Wrapped in sweet blissful darkness.
Before they wrench from me
all that I have lived for.
And give life and breath to me once more.
As I am forced to return to the horror of reality.
With nothing but...
Hopes.
Dreams.
And wishes.
