the dreadful outcome

It was 10pm when mom and dad left..
They didn't answer our calls,
for they were identifying him.
They came back at 2AM
When I heard them dreadful words,
My heart stopped beating.
I fell to the cold earth onto my knees,
My mind went blank; for i was empty.
I felt deaf; their lips were moving so softly

It's just a joke, Right?
No. Reality steps in.
Was it an accident?
Sometimes I get so angry
Looking for answers.
Last words, last breaths;
did anyone try to help him?
