The calming stillness

What I look upon,
Is what I see in the distance.
What I see in the distance is a lake, too still to be calm.

When I look out before me,
I want to go to that place it stays.
Be one with the lake,

So quiet…

So still…..

Feel the water against my body, even the lightest touch in my palms.
Not worry about breathing,
Not worry about being alive,

No worries to worry upon.
Not even worry that I sink in the calm.

The only thing I feel, is sinking in the calming stillness,

And feeling nothingness.
