Have you ever felt unworthy of looking society in the eye
Convincing yourself until you don’t know truth from lies

Have you ever wanted something to just not be true
Because you are a victim but can’t admit it too

Have you ever had your skin crawl and felt so unclean
And cry for no reason, and not know what it means

Have you ever lied so much you don’t know what’s real
Or blocked the world out, you can’t remember how to feel

Have you ever cringed just because someone showed affection
Or felt unworthy of being loved and feeling a connection

Have you ever given something up just to keep your pride
And then take years to realize how much you did subside

Have you ever sat and thought until you couldn’t anymore
About how you brought it upon yourself, and how much you are torn

Have you ever felt hopeless, upset, used, and scared
Or just go numb and lay there, like your body is impaired

Do you think anyone knows what it’s like to be that hopeless girl
Who had some stupid boy tear apart her entire world
