Sell me down the river
Pop a needle in your arm
Tell yourself it won't do any harm
Then watch your son walk out the door
Watch his faith ooze to the floor
All because you needed a fix
Felt that need to swim in Styx
To slam the plunger and push the death
To feel that exhilaration in your breath
But was that high it worth it all
To watch you son fall down and crawl
Was the hole in your arm worth his hurt
Was that poison in for veins worth cutting his smile short
