Remember Our Tears
Bitter winds chill the bone
The sick cry out and moan
Spitting soldiers own my soul
Truly their hearts, as black as coal
Walk and stumble, day by day
All colors fade to gray
Leaving the land we've know for years
Just walk and follow our Trail of Tears
Shaking and sobbing yet still we walk
Echoing fields of soldier's mock
Can not speak, as we leave our land
Tears stinging harsh, throats caked with sand
Shed a tear for the land we've loved for years
Someday you'll remember...
Our lives
Our loss
Our Trail of Tears
