Past Feelings

Feelings of the past reacuring
Thinking of what was back then
Knowing she wasn’t the one
Not wanting to ruin a friendship
She came back with those feeling for you
In hopes of recapturing what once was
She tried to start up where she left off
Not knowing things have changed
She wanted what she lost when she left
Only to return to someone different
She thought she could have you back
As if she hadn’t left and you waited for her
But you told her that you’ve moved on
That she came too late, your life has changed
That you had a girlfriend for more than one year
That you had a new family, a little son
She thinks she shouldn’t meet me
And that you shouldn’t remain friends
She doesn’t want to feel those feelings for you
She knows those feelings make things akward
That you love and we’re ment to be
And you can never have the same feelings for her
