Opened to Close

The sign says one way, but what do I do?
I stray from the path cause it led me to you.
all that i’ve wanted was wrapped in that moment
and it was so good to grab it and own it.

Whos to say if it is what it is, i don’t know
but I can’t hide the tears that so violently flow
from my eyes, hear the cries
from my heart that is broken
due to you leaving all your true feelings unspoken.

these feelings I feel will pass, as before
when I get up the courage to shut that same door
that I should have kept closed all along, it is true
and it never again will be open for you.
