Leaving Faith Behind

Im tired of living in the same old places
Doing the same old things
Where the only company I have are boxes and cases
Its in your eyes to change the world
Its a long journey and I know you hate me
But Ive never heard these words any clearer
And nothing in this whole damn world can change me

Dont make the mistakes in your life
Show the world you mean forever
Show them you know what this is
Dont miss the chance to show me
That you know what love is
And you whisper through the sheets
Love is just faith rewritten in your heart
But maybe Ive lost my faith in you

Things are never the same baby
Just call me in the evening
Stand by the door and look at this empty house
You've been here before and I'm leavin'
I'll hold on to you in my dreams
and they'll be the company I'll recieve
but nothing can ever be done
If you still look at me and say I'm in love

Dont make the mistakes in your life
Show the world you mean forever
Show them you know what this is
Dont miss the chance to show me
That you know what love is
And you whisper through the wall
Love is faith rewritten in your heart
Maybe Ive lost my faith in you

Maybe I'll go to Africa or California
See Europe again or make a trip into Indiana
Visit my uncle in Oklahoma or go to North Carolina
Maybe I'll stay in New York and sell my car
I'll go anywhere,so I can forget about living in your arms
But I know, I could travel this whole damn world
And still think of you in my dreams
But when I'm gone, You wont know at all
When I'm gone, You can have it all
And when I go, I can leave it all
Leave this whole damn world behind
