Leave Me Here Alone

You two go and have some fun,
I'll sit home and watch the sun,
talk to me about the fun you had,
take my heart out on a rope,
pray to God that I don't choke,
shred it in a paper shredder,
hoping that I never get better,
Oh, look now there it goes,
demolished, destroyed, the heart I own,
and all because you left me alone.

Watch some kids with playful smiles,
candy could just fall from the sky,
with my elbow on the windowsill,
waiting for my chance to fly,
because then I'll show you,
I'll get my revenge,
for all the kindness you have shown,
and all those times,
I was all alone.

I am crushed, a goner surely,
you don't care, I know that clearly,
I thought we were the best of friends,
I guess now that just depends,
I sit here, all alone,
waiting for you to call on the phone,
and tell me about it with your usual tone,
Oh, why did you leave me alone?

Take your next chance,
use it wisely,
let me go too, precisely,
please just next time,
oh, please just next time,
don't leave me.
