Judgement

Remember when we were younger?
you know,
when a kid was a kid was a kid?
when "hi" was enough to be someones friend
and when no one cared if she's black
or he has crooked glasses
with cheap looking tape in the middle
that the girl I spent the day with
wasn't wearing abercrombie or hot topic
and boy who caught my eye
didn't pay for the holes in his jeans

When did these things become important?
when did we start to notice differences at all?

I think it's tragic to know people so young are seeing these things too
and seeing them as bad things!

So maybe you like hilary duff
and they're into avenged sevenfold
the friendship may not work out
so?
don't be rude!

You go to church every sunday and have complete faith in god
he's an atheist
so?
don't be disrespectful!

love, love, love
compassion
heart and soul
don't just sing it
live it!

Without different opinions
we would be nowhere
without our personal differences
life would be boring

Thankfully everyone is different
and everyone is equal
differences keep it interesting
and make us who we are

Why not try and find some common ground with someone who seems different from you?
it's honestly not going to kill you

If you have a problem with someone
it should never be because of something they can't change
There isn't a reason to judge
someone you don't even know
forget the pointless social pressures
this isn't a tv show
seriously,
just let it go.
