Inside out and outside in
The story of a broken heart
Where do I begin
For this girl loved this boy more than life itself
But her friends said he was different because the color of his skin
Following her heart she told him she loved him
Though she knew it was a sin
After that she stayed the night and one thing led to another
Inside out and outside in
A month passed, her belly got bigger
She went to the doctor; what he told her made her blood run thin
He told her she was pregnant
But she couldn't help but grin
She went to tell the daddy
About his child that's within
He didn't smile when he heard this
Inside out and outside in
He packed his bags and bounced
She wanted it back; what once had been
She had the baby and ten years passed
Then the daddy shows up and wants to see his child whose now is the age of ten
But she tells him he shouldnt have left
Left her alone back then
He wont leave her alone; he wants to see his child
Inside out and outside in
She finally gives up
And lets him see Katyrin
He drops to his knees and cries
She can't stand to see his tears and kneels beside him and lifts up his chin
Wraps her arms around him; tears run down her face
She was so happy to finally be in his arms again
Now they're a happy family
