I Dont Recognize Her Anymore

A few years ago. Or so,
The sky clouded over,
My world became very dark.
Shutting out the people i love,
My heart was breaking into pieces.
Dont understand how it happened so quick;
Like a disease taking over.
The person I am, is one i no longer know.

She sits on her bed, staring at her wrist.
There is an urge she feels within.
She goes in to her drawer, pulling out a razor,
Pressing the sharp edge to her skin.
A stream of red flowing down her pale arm.
The girl crys; Not tears of pain, but,
Tears of unhappiness.
Deeper she cuts. It feels so good.

Who is this girl?
She doesnt even know.
Looking in the mirror. Her reflection:
A Mask...
