I'm Done

I’m done with being told what to do.
I can fend for myself,
I am strong enough.
I understand you want the best for me,
And I want the best for me too.
Sometimes the best just isn’t you.

I’m done with being so vulnerable.
I’m sealing myself up.
So no one can get in.
I am strong enough.

I’m done with falling so hard it hurts.
I just can’t do it anymore.
I am strong enough,
To give up.
To give in.
I need to be stronger not to.

I’m done hurting.
Hurt hurts
Truly.

I’m done with dealing.
Dealing with bullshit.
Dealing with heartbreak.
Dealing with pain.
I am strong enough to give that up.

When I’m not strong enough,
I am still strong enough to find a way to be stronger.
I can at least.

I need the strength,
To want to be stronger.

I’m done.
