Forever Remembered

Realisations are not the end
they are the beggining
I lost you, my friend
You lost all you were bringing

The memories you leave behind
impact all our lives
easy or even hard to find
and from the world you were deprived

I lose all hope, where do I go?
I can still hear your voice
If you were here, would I know?
I still see your strong, hopeful poise

But when we lie in a black embrace
the world will know my fear
when we see each other face to face
once again when we're near

Tears of sadness I still cry
You left me in a state of wonder
Wondering how, and wondering why
Still going on with blunders

Yet if you were here today
would you still be with me?
Would you know even what to say?
I'm missing you, you see...

Though you are never coming again
I'll always remember you
your smile, urging strain
To move on in life even so

Your life was snatched from you
as if you instantly fell
Oh, and if you only knew
you were entering a dangerous Hell

For now I'll have to live on
you're wherever you are today
Yet...it won't be too long
I won't be here to stay

Forever free, breaking the chains
not a prisoner of life
away from crowds, unfortunate fame
the urge and terror and strife
