Divine Distance
I missed your fragrance as you graced my arm.
Too bad your presence don't raise the alarm.
I didn't believe you could still be there.
Beyond my mind to find myself lying in the crosshair.
Don't shoot, don't shoot, I'm not ready to go.
Though my car's leaking gas reaching an all-time-low.
And there's no telling where you may have gone.
Just lake week you came here on your own.
But now I must seek you through rain and through wear.
Always in the back of mind, "what if you're not there?"
Forever it feels like propane on my skin.
Just drop down your fire and let it begin.
I know you are angry and trained to ignore.
Don't deserve to know you, let this body hit the floor.
