Dave's poem

A friend so near and dear,
A family member through out the years,
It's so strange without you here,
True now is my worst fear,

I swear I hear your voice in the air,
As I look at your stone in a blank stare,
Although I know your everywhere,
I look and no one is there,

I feel like I could fall apart,
Due to the void in my heart,
Why from us did you depart,
and our hearts tear apart,

Without you here we are lost,
Tears our eyes frost,
Until we exhaust,
Why did you pay such a high cost,

Memories make me glad,
Of all the good times we had,
But not knowing why things went bad,
Is making me so sad,

Everyday I have tried,
To remember you're now glorified,
But all it does is make me horrified,

All of our tears cried,
Can not bring you back to life,
God knows because we've tried,

All our love,
Can't bring you down from above,
Because we've shone more than enough of,
All of the above,

We love you our friend,
and until god does us send,
us to heaven at the end,
our hearts to you ascend.
