Buried in Lies

Trapped under the ground
Lies keep me from my escape
I try hard to get out
More lies just seem to shape
I’m stuck in this web
Built up by so many
Lies that I’ve told
I can’t get around any
I constantly worry
That you will find out
The lies that I’ve told you
And our trust you will doubt
So many things
Have came out already
And the ground keeps shaking
Now, nothing is steady
The lies are unraveling
Right under my feet
And this race against truth
Is not one that I can beat
If I could take back
Everything that I’ve said
I would right away
So no more pain would spread
If you find out
And the truth is set free
The I know this for shore
You would really hate me
