Been Awhile...

It's been awhile since I been happy
Maybe 2 years or more
I'd like to get out
But it just a dream I adore

So now I sit here all alone
Just sit here and wonder
Wondering what's out there
Behind that closed door

So I wait and I wait
And I cry and I cry
Waiting for one happy day
For my soul to fly

My heart is crushed
And my body is torn down
I feel no longer me
And my insides are scattered on the ground

My heart races within me
With not one happy thought
Just stress and confusion
Just sadness and distraught

What am I going to do?
Feeling like I do
When no ones out there to help me
Feeling like my life is threw

All I want is freedom
All I want is love
All I want is happiness
And no worries from above

I want to find my dreams
I want to run away
I want to get out
To get one happy day
