A Soul to Rest

She lays drenched with pain
So cold and Barely covered
With not a soul for comfort
The Moon above her Hovered

She reaches out towards the light
To let the warmth within
Her fragile face withdrawn
A world with atrocious sin

Her once life filled with laughter
Melts beneath the planks
The memories of her loved ones
Fading into blank

She chose to follow the path
Of her lover late one night
Her footprints washed away
She fades without a sight

Those she left behind
Prayed with sorrow tears that night
In hope their precious loved one
Returned by Morning Light

That night they made sweet love
Engaged her in his hands
Unaware the mind of her lover
Had a devious,ferocious plan

With force he kissed her lips
Endorsed her to the ground
He pierced the blade towards her throat
As her heart rapidly pounds

He carves the blade upon her chest
Engraves her name in vain
He slips the blade which cuts his wrist
blood drips upon her name..

Her lover leaves the scene
The moonlight shone above
She never thought her life would end
In the arms of the man she loved

Deep inside a foggy mist
Beneath a Willow Tree
The lost,Dying,Helpless Girl
Lays very quietly

She stares into the light
"Let thy lover feel thy Pain"
allow my soul to rest
He left bloodstains on my name..

Her body bruised and beaten
She takes one final breath
And fades into the moonlight
Her soul is all thats left.

She was found the following day
Beneath a tree she layed
With Bloonstains of her lover
His Death is set that day

She Gazes towards the Light
Her soul must now depart
The golden gates of heaven
Will keep her safe at heart.
