You that I love and hate

My hatred for you is rather great
You don't interest me anymore
Although, I'm going through much debate
Whether it is you I should ignore

People don't recognize how much
Patience you have on us humans
Of course, I'm not saying that I do
Though it is you that control my actions

You surpass money, you surpass wisdom
Sad how only a few people notice
It is you that really deserve the stardom
But you almost never leave us painless

You don't care at all about our needs
You just keep walking to our death
We say it is us that control you
Yet you control what is left

You've made us cry, mourn, and grieve
It really was hard to come up with the rhyme
But the audience should really know by now
That the person I'm talking about is time.
