Sticks and stones
Do break your bones
And words
Cut even deeper
With harmful thoughts
Dressed in innocent pose
Betrayed by eyes
That do expose
So called friends
Who bleed you dry
And are never there
Except to pry
To them I say
I do not need you
And with my life
I’ll no longer feed you

Thats really good i always thought that
little thing about sticks and stones was stupid i really like how you turned it around because its so true words do cut even deeper.

whoa.
YES, sticks and stones, HAS to be the STUPIDEST expression ever! but this poem is sooo TRUE! good poem. words do cut pretty deep.
