Untitled

When something dies inside you,
Do you die inside?
When something wants to hide from you,
Do you let it hide?

When something tries to say hello,
Do you let it greet you?
When he tries to find the halfway point,
Do you let him meet you?

When the knife is sharp and the time is right,
Will you cut the holy bread?
When the end of your world as you know it is near,
Will you stop trying to wake the dead?

Thank you everyone.
I hope this will be the last of the depressed crap for a while.

No, No, Maybe, Maybe, If I am hungry enough and No. I hope that clears things up for you.

Seriously you do ask the best questions - and answers are, as usual, superfluous.

No, Yes, Yes, Yes, always (if like you say, the knife is sharp), No..that is exactly when I wake the dead (they had a significant hand in the end, so they should be there to experience it).

I realize that these answers may not exactly pertain to the deep questions that you ask. But those questions can only be answered by you.

A beautiful write!

Yes!

(Everyone else did, so I gave my 2 cents as well.)

Yes, you do ask the best questions. Lovely poem.

No, yes, yes, yes, yes no...

The dead don't need to come back. They've already earned their way to the proper place.

Like telemachus said: you ask the best quetions...
