Those days

while Religion was taking back its language,
each arch of the striped canyons
denied my echo-

I became singular,
Finally acknowledging
the anemic space
that designed the distance
in our shape-

“Just one of those days”

an over-played security
that has asphyxiated
a mental history,
where the flies dance
over the metaphorical stench
of each bloodless instant

with pouting shoulders
the wall-flower hangs
with only a shrug..

“Just one of those days”

Ooh, yes. I'm with Telemachus. Talk about a trip, eh?

"I became singular"

I love that. Beautiful poem, Silent.

"while Religion was taking back its language"

That's a great opening line, i was always going to finish a poem that started like that.

Though your meaning escapes me your imagery captured me nicely.

"an over-played security

over the metaphorical stench
of each bloodless instant" Holy shit that sounds good spoken out loud...wonderful read. Not 100% sure what you mean...but I think I'm getting bits of it...

To me the sound of the abject disgust of the prevalence of pharisaism seems to echo loudest through this poem.Or maybe thats just me.Again simply astounded.
