It’s so quiet in my room
Then suddenly BOOM!
I hear a war going on outside my bedroom door,
It sounds like it might be on the kitchen floor
Words are flying like bullets,
The trigger is their tongue
And there’s no hesitation to pull it
Who ever uses the cruelest word means they have a bigger gun,
So that just means more damage is done
The more damage done means more feelings are hurt,
But no one ever wins in an argument,
So what is all this worth?
I’ll tell you what its worth… NOTHING!
But they can’t see that
There both blinded by emotional feelings,
So the war of words goes on,
It will end depending on who gives in before whom,
Just when you think it’s over…
The argument escalates and blows up like a balloon
They use more ammunition!
This means there running out of breath,
I’m tuned in, curious what will happen next
But I hear nothing, nothing at all…
No more words Rica shading of the wall.
The war is over,
The two soldiers have grown weak
And now I can finally get some sleep!
