They've caught a new one to add to their herd.
A wild stallion that has now matured.
He's different from the rest
with his spotted coat and barreled chest.
His soul makes him shine from deep within.
But now the breaking is about to begin.
The men take their ropes and make their hands mean.
The stallion fights, kicks and screams.
But they've forced him to the ground.
The frightened horse looks around.
The other horses look all quite the same.
with their shiny coats and new cut manes.
Is this the life that lay ahead of him?
To behave like everyone else in a world that's so dim?
What of his own green pastures and space?
He doesn't want confined fences and gates!
He would not let them take him
or even try to break him.
So he tore his bonds and jumped the fence
and the cowboys shant see him hence.
He galloped away, his soul is free.
He's a wild stallion and always will be.
