The contradictions of old wise men.

Advice these days is so hard to follow,
With all these wise men,
Who have more opinions than we can swallow,
But these wise old boys get us a bit confounded,
With all these saying on us which they have hounded,

From M.K Gandhi who gives a piece of his mind,
By stating that an ‘eye for an eye will make the whole world blind’,
But a quote that is common as it is old,
Tells us that ‘revenge is a dish best served cold’,

And then Benjamin Franklin, who once had to say,
‘Don’t put off till tomorrow what can be done today’,
And just when we think that we are done,
R.T wombat comes and says
‘The lazy man gets around the sun, just as quick as the busy one’,

We can either take our own advice,
Or take the advice of them,
Though it is rather confusing,
Alas! Those contradicting wise men
