Some Other Then

There, in one world I see myself
Standing on a windswept peak
Feeling time in my bones

There, in another world I see myself
Sitting in a cafe talking
Quietly, softly and smiling

There, in another world I see myself
Walking on a dusty road
Gathering flowers as I go

There, in another world I see myself
On a busy street waiting
For a bus to the city

There in another world I see us

And us

And us

And us

Who are we?
Which us?

Who am I?
Who can I be?

Where?
When?

Now?

No.

Some other then.

Maybe.

Endless possibilities! I'm now 50 years young, and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up! Smiley Really great poem.

How about: a timeless soul, sitting in a windswept cafe on top of the world with a bunch of fragrant flowers you just picked in a vase on the table before you, laughing wholeheartedly about the joys and mysteries of life? .... I agree with missingmom - Really great poem.

Fusion is what this poem is about in a way, so footprints definitely has the right idea.... Smiley
