Sleep Where Are You

Sleep, where are you in my hour of need
You've deserted me again tonight
Whatever I try I just cannot succeed
My mind becomes active, I lose the fight.
What does it matter I have things to do
Days to plan and things to sort out
Why do I have to wait for you?
Another nights sleep I'll go without.

Sleep please come to visit me soon
It gets so lonely here on my own
The only face I see is the moon
And he is quite happy up there alone.
I feel the dust you leave in my eyes
The yawns still come to my face
But I feel you hide away in disguise
Come here, give me your sweet embrace.

Sleep are you in the corner over there?
Do you watch me toss and turn?
Come out of hiding and hear my prayer
My peace will be your only return.
I am ready to let you take control
My mind is tired now and wants to rest
Come here to me, invade my soul
I invite you in, please be my guest.

Sleep can I feel you creeping over me?
Are some of your sweet dreams in my head?
Are you coming here to do your duty
Will you please come to join me in my bed?
I feel you are letting me have my own way
And surely that would be so right
But as soon as you come to me all I'll say
Is, "Sleep I wish you a very goodnight".

To who ever is reading this, this is Kassey, I had two e mails telling me that there had been comments on my poem, I came and looked and they were there and I responded to them. My page now tells me "O" comments, can someone tell me how this works. I am not a stupid person and would like to join in some dialogue but cannot do so unless I know how it works. ie. what happened to those 2 comments and my response?
