Sisters

I used to fight for you
And you’d take the blame for me
Being such opposite sisters
We were quite the pair to see,

Infamous in every home
Known all around our town
Verbally and physically strong
And the two that could take you down

But home was another story
Together we’d laugh and we’d cry
Tell each other our secrets
Stay up late talking ‘bout guys

But you began to change
Soon all of your smiles were fake
You turned away from me
You started making mistakes

All those you knew that I hated
Suddenly became your friends
You turned to drugs and beer
Until your mind began to bend

Where went the sister I knew
So quickly she was gone
My beautiful, blonde little angel
Had made everything go wrong

For many months more I worried
What could I possibly do
Everything was out of control
And help was up to you

Now your away in rehab
Getting the help that you need
Soon you can start your life over
You can plant yourself a new seed

And don’t worry I’ll always be here
For the good times and the bad
Waiting for more happy memories
To melt away the sad

So don’t worry my broken angel

For you’re my “baby” sister
