As I jump off this balcony,
I spread my wings to fly
Many things I can see with my sharp eyes
As my wings cut the wind,
I see all the worlds’ evils and sins
While I glide,
My tiny eyes view a bully take another kid’s pride
I fly to the west,
Only to see a robbery in progress
Now I am soaring over the highway,
I see a drunk driver swerving,
They don’t know it is there last day
I fly over the city,
Viewing drug dealers, crooked cops
And prostitutes with no dignity
I finally found a tree branch to rest on,
Because I am tired of flying around,
But there are people trying to cut the tree’s down
So they can build their factory,
Can’t they see there polluting the air they breathe?
I would say something if I could
And if I could fly off this planet called earth
I WOULD!
