Running Away
In woven grass
And tawny plain
I hide away
From the worlds drain
Beaten and tired
I retreat
Into my mind
Safety sweet
Hide away
Until dusk comes
Run away
From cruel sun
Screeching fades
Calm ensues
I won’t contend
With constant ruse
