pretend
She doesnt fit in
she watches as the
day passes her by.
Mistakes regrets she
cant forget. Doesnt
know where she
belongs. She doesnt
want to go along. Shes
sick of people
constantly putting her
down. Shes all alone.
She thinks shes on her
own. She wants to die,
she sits at home
everynight and thinks suicide. She
holds a
blade in her hand
this pain she can feel.
This can't be real
compassion's just a
word shes never witnessed.
she begs the lord to get
her through the day.
A small act of kindness
might just save her again. shes
waiting for someone
to touch her inside her heart. shes
waiting to come out the dark.
Her parents ask her whats wrong,
she tries to be strong she fakes
a smile she stares at the
mirror she doesn't recognize
the person starring back at her.
she tells herself she'll be
alright. Never again will
she have to fear
