Nightmares End
PART ONE:
Awful scenes fill my view,
Things I cannot bear.
Constant pain engulfs my soul,
How can this be fair?
Foggy mist surrounds my mind,
Darkness fills my heart.
Peace in here does not exist,
Spirit rends apart.
Where am I? I must wake up!
From this awful sleep.
I deserve this pain filled dream,
What I sow, I reap.
I feel myself start to stir,
Now I see my sins.
As I wake I start to see,
Nightmare now begins.
PART TWO:
My nightmares begin,
as I wake up.
Bitterness fills,
My once empty cup.
I'm now in control,
Of what I do.
The answer comes,
I already knew.
The road will be hard,
It has to be,
I'm learning now,
this gift is not free.
It was paid in full,
By God's own Son.
Paid for in blood,
The Lords will was done.
Nightmares no longer,
Can haunt my dream,
Now only peace,
For me it would seem.
PART THREE:
Beautiful scenes,
Now fill my view;
The summers sun,
The winters dew.
The fog is gone,
The darkness too.
Jesus healed me,
He can heal you.
