Never Say The End

shooting stars and dandelions
cannot change this fate
whisper a wish to a fountain
but could it be too late?

does late exist
in the realm of wish
can a desire be too great

"can a wish come true,"
the little boy asked
"if it interferes with fate?"

a question is answered
in a quivering voice
and a silent tear decends

write the story
that gives faith
and never say 'the end'
