My Tears Don't Fall

I just don’t understand
Why you treat me this way
You’re the reason I bleed
You’re the reason I cry

Do you not feel important?
So you want to degrade me?
It doesn’t make sense
Can you please explain?

But no matter why
You still bring me pain
Like that of a child
All alone out in the cold

That’s why every night
I lie awake in my bed
As the tear tracks on my face
Are once again renewed

Most people’s tears just fall
Slowly down their faces
But some people have so much pain
That their tears are faster
I am one of those people
So my tears don’t fall
They crash silently to the ground
Like those of my slowly beating heart
