Mother's Day Poem

Caring, sharing, responsibility,
these are all things I've learned from you.
"Be nice to everyone"
"Make good choices"
"Don't take advice from Dad"
all important lessons,
but you've given me more than knowlegde,
you've given me love.
Not only have you given me life,
but you've given me reasons to love the life I live.
You're my mom and my friend,
I can talk to you about anything.
Everyday of these past sixteen years,
you've helped me,
help me learn, help me grow, help me succeed.
In return, you get one day.
One day for me to show how much I apreciate you in my life.
One day to make up for the other 364 days,
the days that forget to cherish.

So thank you for all your knowledge, patience and love,
and thanks for being
the best mom I could ever ask for.
