If Only You Knew

there is so much i want to say,
so many words left unspoken,
there are so many teary-eyed wishes i have made,
and i just think if only you knew,

if only you could see,
i've made my mistakes time and time again,
and i know its not enough to be sorry,
if i can, i'd spend the rest of my life trying to take it all back,

if you only knew,
that im not jelous of what you think i am,
i don't think you even have a clue,
but maybe you should know,

i'm not jelous of those girls that you want to touch,
its those girls whose hands you want to hold,
thats what i think about so much,
but i won't tell,

i'm not jelous of those girls that catch your eye,
its those girls who get to look into your eyes everyday,
sometimes it just makes me cry,
i wonder what you'd say if only you knew,

its not always those girls who you spend the nights with,
its the girls that get to wake up to your sweet face every morning,
though sometimes i wish i was the one you spent the night and morning with,
,but i can't let you know,

its not about how hot you are,
its how handsome your face shines,
and how we sit and look up to the stars,
all night long i'd sit there with you,

its not the money you have,
its how you notice how hard i work for mine,
i'd do back flips if only i'd sparkle in your eye,
but that doesn't matter,

its not about the gifts you can give,
its the way you brush the hair out of my eyes in the night,
thats how i'd like to live,
so if only you knew,

a thoasand words would still leave me unable,
unable to tell how i truely feel,
tell you how when you hold me my knees become unstable,
and when your looking me in the eyes the world fades from my mind,

if only you knew that when your gone i can't sleep,
toss and turn like the waves of the sea,
if you knew would you love just me,
or would you just brush me off,

what if i was your angel w.o wings to fly,
would you disown me for my flaws,
for you i'd give my life so you wouldn't die,
"i'd give my last breath to keep you alive long enough to say goodbye to your friends"

but i guess you'll never know,
still i can't help but wonder,
what if it was so,
that you found out that which i say "if only you knew"...
