I'll be there for you through think and thin.
I'll hold you up when things look grim.
I'll be your smile in the morning light.
I'll be the one you hold at night.
I'll be the one you want, who holds everything you need.
But I can only be those things if you do one thing for me.
Promise to be honest and promise to be true,
if you can do those things I will give my heart to you.
But if your word isn't as it seems, and you're not being true.
I'll know that I was never, anything to you.
So once again I ask you, to prove that what I found.
Is that you really care, and I'm not just a rebound.
