Hawaiian Punch

Honor me, Validate me, fuck me.
Come to my place
Let me slam the door as you leave
I will return to the pool seeking once again
Swimming in depths looking for an island to rest upon
Alas dry land again is this the island paradise?
Swimming again - too exotic for my blood
Will this tiring exercise end?

Ahhh. Some how I am calm found a piece of me over there.
Oh well, just a trinket. Toss it back into the pool.
Swimming - the water is deep dark blue black
Swimming - how wide is this ocean?
Swimming swimming - it is all so tiresome.
Swimming Drowning - Yang is all around.
Total immersion. Yang has won again.
Dark but needed dark. I will emerge Light.

In fondness of Tradergirl

Hi Robert! good to hear from you again. Nice poem. As I read it, I'm reminded how much single life can suck! Married life has it's dark moments too, but I'd take it over being single again and swimming in the dark water any day!
