Hate

When we're young we only know love.
But as we grow our hearts are torn.
Feelings like poison infect the wound.
They seal it and bubble and boil until the heart turns black.
The disease spreads throughout the body.
Until we are no longer men.
We are monsters kept in human form.
We spread our diseases to others around us.
To the ones we once loved and ones we haven't met.
This contagiousness turns our world into something else.
A living Hell far worse than the one we've seen in our dreams of the dark.
We brought this apon ourselves.
This disease, far worse than any cancer is what will be the end of it all.
For this infection only knows how to kill and feed off humans.
God didn't create hate, mankind did.
