Fools

You rip your own heart out
And cover it in shadows
Calling it dark cause the life's out
Mocking true darkness with lies so shallow
Quit your masquerade
Your foolish actions belittle you
Your light hasn't yet begun to fade
Your covering up your lives with darkness untrue
Wipe that false grimace from your face
Slap that pathetic frown to the back of your throat
Your lies will steal something you can't replace
This pathetic cry for attention will help you choke
So purge all the lies from your veins
Admit that what you are is a fake
Throw away all your impersonating pain
And realize that life is all you can take
Now step out from your so called shade
And pick up your candle
Realize that your masquerade
Was more than you could handle

your exposed, stop saying you're dark, insulting imposter, just give up
